Georgia Construction Law Handbook

This book represents several years of work. It is principally intended as a reference for the bench and bar. I hope that it will be used by construction and design professionals as a ready reference to common issues such as regulatory matters and the collection of money using the mechanic’s lien law or the public works bond laws.

The book is limited to Georgia law on the topics as set forth in the Official Code of Georgia Annotated and reported state and federal court decisions applying Georgia law. There are several good publications on the topics of construction law in general, as well as federal procurement law and regulations. I have not attempted to address such topics beyond the state of Georgia.
